BJP reaches EC against Sonia Gandhi, demands cancellation of recognition of Congress
New Delhi. The Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP) has moved the Election Commission seeking action against Congress leader and former MP Sonia Gandhi and derecognition of her party for using the word 'sovereignty' for Karnataka during the election campaign. A BJP delegation led by Union minister Bhupendra Yadav also submitted a memorandum to the commission on the issue.
