Ending Poverty in Fragile States requires sustained efforts that connect peace, effective governance, and inclusive economic development. In g7+ countries, poverty is often rooted in conflict, institutional weakness, and fragile service systems. Addressing it demands long-term, country-owned strategies that strengthen resilience, expand livelihoods, and improve access to essential services. The g7+ advocates for context-driven policies and partnerships that recognize the unique challenges of fragile settings. Building stability is key to reducing vulnerability and inequality. Through Fragile-to-Fragile Cooperation, member states exchange practical knowledge and peer support to accelerate poverty reduction and advance sustainable, locally led development outcomes.
